CHéCHI (Nigeria)

CHéCHI is a sustainable Nigerian brand that creates functional clothing inspired by the slow fashion. The brand produces a new collection every 4 months and sells 85% of their stock before creating a new collection. They use fabrics sourced locally at affordable rates and work with local textile manufactures to create fabric that can become functional pieces for our clients. Only limited quantities of each design are produced: this reduces the possibility of dead stock and ensures a level of exclusivity. This year the company will be introducing the use of second fabric and upcycling unsold designs from previous collections to create limited capsule collections.
The brand would appreciate if women bought less clothes and wore whatever they buy longer; for value to become determinant.
