Piñatex (Ananas Anam) (UK)

We make a sustainable and natural non-woven textile made from waste pineapple leaf fibres called Piñatex. The leaves are a by-product of the harvest that would otherwise be left on the ground to rot, thrown away or burned. We valorise this waste by producing our material and allows the local farming cooperatives we work with earn a second stream income that enables them to provide a better lifestyle for their families.
