Polina Gorkovenko is a designer of sustainable womenswear and a founder of the brand with the same name. In creation of her collections, the designer focuses on comprehension of a human mind, emotions, and mental health. An important component of the brand is using fashion to benefit humans, either through clothes making or through acting as an information platform. For her collections, Polina uses only certified materials like silk with not a single silkworm dying to make; or jersey made of 100% post-industrial bio waste. Another important thing about the brand is an ancient fabric manipulation method – smock pleating. The designer doesn't use electrical sewing machines and makes modern clothing, making a difference with her slow fashion approach, unique texture, and concept.
